Little felted bag

I had a sort out of my wool stash over Xmas and found some pure wool Aran from Ireland. This is perfect for felting, as the wool has a natural binding quality when subjected to heat and pounding. Artificial fibres and machine washable blends do not do this.
It is a slightly scary thing to do, as the item shrinks and there is no way of finding out what has happened until you retrieve it from the washing machine after a 60 wash cycle.
I am very pleased with this one though, the handles have formed into rounded cords and the body has thickened up very nicely.
I have impatiently put the button on and am waiting for it to dry out before I decide whether to line the bag or use as is.
Great fun!
