Free Beer, Whiteleaf & a Red Kite
Carol cut my hair 1st thing after S from next door had called in with a 6 pack of Cornish Lager which he had had given to him. Sharing his good fortune he reckoned it was a good drink & didn't taste like lager at all.
After lunch we went up to Whiteleaf Cross just for a quick look. The car park was still a sheet of ice & so we didn't get out, but the sun was shining & there were lots of walkers around. Driving down the hill there were glimpses of the cross but nothing substantial. Once at the bottom I detoured through Monks Risborough where I saw this shot in my rear view mirror. Found a place to stop & as I did so a Red Kite drifted past on the breeze.
From here we went to visit Daph for a hour before returning home to chill out.
Just sampled the Lager which is very ale-y & won't last very long - lovely....thanks again S !
Bright Sunny day
