Waiting for the music.........

If I have to go shopping it has to be on a Sunday morning, as this includes very good coffee and cake in a little continental cafe and a walk around the castle gardens. The sun came out as I went towards the Victorian bandstand......the blip for the day! The bandstand has many concerts in the summer months, as well as creating the backdrop for the open-air theatre. In the background you can just see the 11th century castle keep, which always has a lovely array of seasonal planting around it, the gardens were created to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and have been lovingly cared for ever since. .
