Sunshine and shadows

This is my favourite tree in the garden. It was my 30th birthday present, just 5 days before I had my second child so my husband was perplexed about what to give me. I love the way light and shadow mix as they do on our natures; the way it's branches twist and turn as life itself; and the featheriness of the leaves reminds me it's better to be flexible and let the wind ripple through than resist all that stands in your path.
