Whale watching at St Cyrus

Beautiful morning walk at St Cyrus missed sunrise but the whales cresting the waves just off the beach made up for it.  To my untrained eye they looked like "killer whales" far too large to be dolphins!  I know Minky whales have been spotted previously in the North East but hadn't realised Killer whales were to be seen in this part of the world.
