ouch

it may not be very photogenic - but it made an impact...on my finger.  Down the driveway, down the hill toward the T-intersection at 6:11am this morning & it got me...just as I was trying to slow down.  I have no idea how it got there - somewhere over the past few days it has leant up against something & caused a great gash in the handbrake...exactly right where I use my bird finger to slow down.
I wouldn't have minded & possibly would have forgotten all about it - except when entering & exiting a patients room we use alcohol based hand gel... I can guarantee it is a clean wound.

This afternoon was a lazy one - the day before school goes back & with a very tired LittleMissDuo who refuse to admit defeat & exhaustion it was soon tears & misguided frustration.... Learning to use your words can be difficult when it is not always demonstrated or encouraged by those around them
