BIG DAY

Monday was the day we'd been waiting for.  Our quick trip to the big city with my friend and her daughter.  Us four girls hit the road....skipping work....and school.  We had lunch together at The Roadhouse Grill.  A first for the little girls....and the peanuts in the shell at the table was a hit.  So fun to eat and throw the shells on the floor. 

We continued on to the big city and had a bit of time getting to our hotel.  Big cities throw us little city ladies off.  After driving in circles a bit, we found our spot, and it was lovely.  There was a HUGE window with the best light.  Sugar enjoyed sitting at the window watching all the cars, and people of the city.  

Soon we hit the streets walking.  We ventured to find our evening destination early, so we'd know how to get there. Then we headed in another direction to find some food.  We had a GREAT dinner together and had plenty of time to get back to the Theater where our show was ready to knock our socks off.  We were there to see the So You Think You Can Dance Tour show.  It was an evening of AMAZING dancing and sooooooo many  happy smiles from our group. Sugar Bear LOVED it.  So motivating, and fun to see our favorite dancers from the last season on TV.  It was perfect.  

After the show, we happily skipped on back to the hotel, and tried to settle down to bed.  It was hard, but we managed to fall asleep with dancing feet in our dreams.
