Mother with Babies

My Bromeliad has showed some tendency to increase its presence by throwing out these additional shoots recently.

Although this is a tropical plant, it does well on our rear verandah out of the cold during winter.
I'm not certain what to do with these hanging bits as I don't want to be invaded if left to its own devices,
