A special moment

This was taken in Almeria, Spain, in the fall of 1970. John and I had met in Stockholm that September, then rode on his motorcycle through Europe to Spain, where we spent several months, most of it in the town of Almeria. We rented an apartment for $50/ month, all furnished, right on the Mediterranean. One day we decided to go to a photo booth to take a picture of us, but after sitting down noticed the "out of  order"sign. So we went to a nearby photographer instead, and have this as a precious reminder of our early days together. In the following spring we got married in Finland. If I can find a wedding picture, I'll post it.
