Ref Sister

Cora (the tall one) has been hired this winter as a referee for the boys' and girls' club's games. This morning, she had the pleasure of refereeing her little sister Fontelle's (the short one here) game. We gave her a "hard" time with some of her calls, teasing her of course, but her principal, and boys' high school coach, had the best line for her: "You gotta call something on her…I don't care if she IS wearing your makeup!" That one elicited a grin from Cora on her way down the court. Elle's team won. Basketball roots run deep in this family.
