Columbine

One thing about Colorado weather, if you don't like it just wait a little while and it will change.  We had snow a few days ago and it is in the forecast again for next week but it has been really warm between storms.   Today it was 75F (23.8C).  While I was outside soaking up the sun, I saw this little Columbine in my garden poking up through the dried remains of last year's plant.  It made me smile to think of the arrival of Spring but I'm not sure it will survive the rest of winter.  I'll be watching it.  :-)
