Release the balloons

Proper winter's day today, booming sun but with a frosty feel, perfect weather for a walk out.

Today we headed up to Peel Tower in Ramsbottom, first time I've visited, quite a nice walk.

Once we reached the tower we saw these people in the photo releasing these red balloons, not sure why, but photo it made quite an unusual entry for my daily blip.
