............Big kids at play...............

Everything yesterday went as well as could be hoped.
A few smiles and some tears at the service.......a prayer in Swahili for Dad......three excellent hymns chosen by my sis.....a good turn out.

After the burial a good send off............I think I managed to buy a drink for everyone.........good food........a good mix of people.......fond memories........cousins reunited.

A quiet night in.

Today some flowers taken to my gran, my aunty and my mum........and then a trip to the park with the little ones...........a sunny day........pretty mild.............swings, slides, roundabouts............and then the Boss spotted a twenty foot long snake swing...............and off they went..........all the big kids......the Boss, the Son and Heir, Young Helen, the Daughter........all for a play on the mega swing........leaving Grandad with the little 'uns.

Lunch....the drive back home.....opening the front door..........and instantly realising the heating was off..........and obviously has been for the entire time we've been away.............problem sorted.........but the house is like a fridge........it will probably take a day to warm back up.

Thanks for all your kind words........there's still things to do........but the hardest part is over...........so I'm back..........and I'll be commenting and posting on a daily basis again.
