Scallop Shell on Portobello Beach

D and I went for a wander along Portobello beach this afternoon, it was almost as busy as used to be in the 1900's. The cafes and pubs were packed (we had plum and ginger scones with pear jam in the Skylark).  I like the way this scallop had arranged itself nicely within a circle of tiny stones.
