Dairy free apple cake

I made this today as an experiment. My youngest Great Niece has a dairy allergy which means that she is quite ill if she has milk or cheese or butter. Making a cake without butter or milk is a bit of a challenge. Any way I found this recipe for an apple cake without diary and I tried it today. On the whole it worked well, although the baking time was way out.
