The Lady Mayoress :)

I went to a children's art exhibition today in Bradford organised by a friend who runs art workshops for children aged 5 - 11.  Their artwork was beautiful and some of the children won certificates of achievement awesomeness for their creations which were given to them by the Mayor and Mayoress of Bradford.  The children were so delighted!
I chatted to the Lady Mayoress afterwards and instead of asking her something about her work I in true Bridget Jones interviewing style asked her about her eyeshadow (it was lovely).  She proudly told me the powder was from Avon and the glitter was from Connections and a bargain at Boots!
I later read about her online and it appears she was Head of Drama, Music and RE at a primary school before retiring, she is widely traveled, is involved with many charities and events, she enjoys photography, doesn't care for hot/spicy curries, kidney or liver, enjoys a martini and wine, her favourite flowers are daffodils, gladioli, roses and carnations, but she has a strong dislike of lilies.  (And she has a great choice in eye make up)
