Hope

A day of. contrast here and these snowdrops taken outside the entrance to Petworth House represent hope that Eunice will not suffer too much. When I took the pic I had intended something else for my blip, but here it is.
Lovely morning with Su, thanks Su, enjoying the Turner exhibition. Timothy Spall was trained to paint for two years prior to filming and some of his sketches and paintings were on show in the Old Library. He is good. It has been reported that he is good enough to exhibit in his own right, should he want to.

Lunch, then returned Su to Haslemere station and took myself to Midhurst Cottage Hospital to see my 95 year old friend Eunice, whom I have mentioned before. Very distressing. Very sad. She's been having frequent falls and is badly bruised and totally confused. May we be spared from dementia.
A brisk, cold walk was required on my return home to clear my mind and body from the shock of seeing her. Feeling better now but still very sad.

Some mindless telly and/or my book will be the order of the evening.
