The person behind the Carfax Hotel campaign certainly has a flair for protest. The hotel has now been granted permission to develop a bar on the ground floor. I can't say I understand it though. I live in another well known terrace close to the centre of Bath which has a club at one end and pubs and tattoo parlours at the other, and I can't say they've had a negative effect on my life.
