Handsworth Market

A trip to visit with customers in central Birmingham today. This shot (whilst sat in traffic) was taken in the Handsworth district. The sign for the market (on the wall on the right-hand side) caught my eye.

This area has to be one of the busiest I have ever driven through, there must be more shops and people per square mile than London, at least that's what it felt like. It took me 20 minutes to drive through this area and I have to say I was fascinated at the diversity of people and shops all around. There were shops selling items I had never seen before or indeed have any clue to their purpose :-)

PS I'm only guessing at the location on the map but it's roughly in the right area!
