Waitangi Day

Our national day of celebration to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi between all the Maori chiefs and the representatives of the Queen of England - the 175th celebration this year so we are still a very young country.

This koru is a maori symbol for new life, growth, strength and peace - very appropriate for Waitangi Day.
