Long way to tyre shop.
We got a flat tyre in the loader (the one on the right) that we use for pulling the boat in and out of the water. When we replaced the old one, we got one that was the same, and this was a lucky move yesterday afternoon.
PJ had to keep pumping up the tyre so he could keep it going until he got the wheel off the old loader. We managed it!! Turned out to be a bit easier than we had thought it might be. Luckily it wasn't completely rusted into place.
Monday we have to organise getting the wheel & tyre out to Blenheim, and get in back as soon as possible. Trouble is the tyre has quite a few nicks in it, so it might have to be replaced. That was the one thing on it that wasn't in as good condition as the one it was replacing.
