Otherwise known as an emergency blip.

I really should have got out there earlier today - right now we're sitting on 37 Degrees C, and it's warm.  Far too warm for most flying critters except for honey bees.  And far too warm for me to stand around in the sun. 

This is one of my succulents which flowers happily at this time of year.

Actually I was in the garden quite early, but my time was spent watering like a mad woman trying to keep everything happy and alive.  I saw a couple of Monarchs while I was out there too.
