Elbow

Elbow are in the middle of a four night residency at the Apollo in Manchester and we were lucky to get tickets to see them.

This is actually the seventh time we have seen them. The first occasion was back in June 2008 when we were fortunate to see them in Delamere Forest so it was only a short walk from home. They completely blew us away with their performance that day and since then we have seen them on every tour.  They always put on a terrific show and tonight it was great to hear some of the older songs they don't normally play like Fugitive Motel, Mexican Standoff, Any Day Now and Bitten by the Tailfly.

As for the photo. I know its not the best quality but I wanted to use something to represent the concert and this was the best of a bad bunch. It shows the legend that is lead singer Guy Garvey.
