Kelpies in Lynchburg??

I went to buy shoes today and imagine my surprise when I saw this marvelous sculpture outside the store.  

The store actually specializes in all things Horsey - feed and tack and other items I can only imagine.  But they serve another niche market - interesting shoes that accept orthotics.  I have just gotten orthotics and need to find another shoe besides my running shoe to wear to work.

I asked about the sculpture and the lady at the counter said the owner had fallen in love with it when she was at a show in North Carolina.  She didn't know if it was a one-of-a kind or something the owner ordered.  It stands about 10 feet high and it certainly adds flair to the establishment.
