A hae ma doots

The main Hamilton designed Royal High School (now known as New Parliament House) flanked by the two proposed Nob Hill guest accommodation wings for the planned hotel.  The developers say they are saving the building and enhancing the existing vista ........I think the additions are too tall and dominate the site as currently proposed.  I also remain sceptical about the windows they want to cut into the front edifice, the enhanced terrace and new steps to Regent Terrace.

Hopefully a compromise can be reached which does not involve the burghers of the city resenting the building for the next 100 years but does ensure its longevity.
