Vera's Bonnet

It's surprising just how much better a lady feels once she's visited the Hairdresser, newly permed and the quick application of a bonnet meant Vera risked the walk back from town instead of calling a taxi, must admit to being slightly worried as over the past few weeks she's had a tendency to loose her balance an d fall over, she refused my offer of an arm to hold onto so I kept at a discrete distance and followed her all the way home.
