Do-Do

OK it's not the most eloquent statement or image, however it's proof that Ms Tiggywinkle is feeding well and preparing herself for what we assume will be a new brood of babies. There was a great deal of snuffling and grunting over several nights, once that stopped we realised the hedgehogs were outside listening. :-))

The gestation period can be 30-50 days so late next month we should have fun. I have just discovered care of the great god Wiki that male hogs will kill newborn males. So I'll have to make sure the babies are well protected. There is only one access point to their home, but the main routes in and out of the garden are riddled with hog runs.

Elvis is still around so he may have to be moved to a new location for the safety of the newborn, I have a family lined up for him, with a hedgehog house and all the good things.
