Blackness Castle and three bridges

It was a beautiful day for a walk so the dog and I went just a bit further than usual, following the renovated path towards Blackness, which now forms part of the John Muir Way. The bridges are almost lost in the heat haze  mist but you can see the progress of the new Queensferry Crossing. Apparently the pillars reached 1/2 their height this week. I can't believe they will be the same height again from the water level - surely it must be from the carriage way? It's moving quickly so we'll find out before too long.
