The solution

A friend and I were laughing about the predicament the deep snow causes for our dogs. When the door is opened and they go out to take care of "their business," they just kind of look around with a "What-do-I-do-now" expression. When Gulliver crouches down, the snow covers his rear end. I can almost see him thinking, "This is horribly undignified!" Although maybe not; he probably doesn't care about the dignity, just the cold, wet snow. Anyway, Bob's solution to Gulliver's predicament was to take the snowblower out to the middle of the yard and plow a clear space for Gully to do his thing. So that is today's blip. It will be another winter memory to make us smile.
