Two For Joy
I had to go back to my doctor today, the antibiotics weren't working and we both knew they needed changing. He reckons the pneumonia has come on top of mild influenza.
Once we'd shared our joint frustrations at the news that this year's flu jab won't work for most people - Public Health England should have listened to the WHO last March. Still they're saying "Have the jab anyway, it might be worthwhile". What?
And we'd agreed that the advice to go to your GP for antiviral drugs is a waste of time anyway because there isn't a shred of evidence that they prevent "serious outcomes". That is death from pneumonia. (Don't worry, you don't get rid of me that easy!).
So, as I say, boring stuff out of the way, we discussed our common joy in the magpie-like thrill of collecting images, alway hoping for that perfect "one"...
We both agreed we'd neither of us achieved that goal. WTF; who does?
