Testing Settings

I know, I know, it's not a particularly inspiring photo, BUT, I'm pleased with it as I have now tested the settings for my lens and camera for taking photos of the Northern Lights.

The aperture for this shot was f2.8, which is what is recommended, opening up the aperture to get as much light in as possible. Yet still the landscape is 'reasonably' sharp.
