We had a lovely day today.  Breakfast in Hanmer, then a two hour soak in the pool (where I ran into a pair of blippers from Timaru).  After that we took the girls (dogs) for a walk then had another coffee.

A slow (lots of holiday weekend traffic) run into Christchurch and settled into our holidayhome.  Then I went to the hospital to visit Mum, who is doing really well after her surgery and may be released tomorrow.
