Busy boots....

I missed blipping yesterday  but I do want to say that my instincts were right about the weather and fires .... There was a huge fire here on Tues caused by the extreme heat and winds, sadly one house was lost and lots of others damaged but thankfully no one was injured.
It really was a nasty wild day.

Has been slightly cooler today though which is a relief all round.

We have spent the day stacking our first load of firewood that was delivered , in preparation for winter... Ella was a great help... Spurred on by the offer from Dave of some cash!
