Gulls following the fishing boat

The boat is just entering the harbour and gulls are doing what they do world wide.  Steveston is primarily a salmon fishing port with literally millions of salmon passing through during the season.  Many of those salmon travel 500 - 800 km. upstream to their spawning grounds.  At this time of year many other types of fish are caught including Halibut and Cod.  Steveston is actually the biggest fishing port on the west coast of North America.
