In town today for an all day meeting with the Area Conveners from across Scotland. Good discussions then on to a recognition event this evening for panel members and Area Support Team volunteers.

On my way in this morning I passed, as I have done countless times before, the war memorial on North Bridge to those who fought and died in Afghanistan, Egypt etc at the end of the 19th century.

I was a bit surprised to see vegetation being hugged.
