Little Sweetheart

I was told that there have been numerous sightings of pelicans for the last couple of days.
I got up early very excited and went down to the river and the Fishermens wharf where they usually hang out........not one in sight.
Where do they go?

A little dejected I traversed the park near the beach that is always full of birds. There I was not disappointed. I took heaps of birdie pics...I don't know what it is about them...they always make me feel happy.

The swamp was also a little trove of wonderful surprises.

However...when I downloaded the 100 or so photos l could not go past this sweet little common minor bird that visited whilst drinking coffee...the look on its face just warmed my heart.

I am sorry I didn't get round to all your journals last night.......I'm still on the mend and was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open.
