The bandstand has landed

A very warm and summery day today, so I took a leisurely and extended wander around the town. The bandstand in the park is photogenic under lots of different conditions and the evening light and long shadows made it look to me as if it had just landed. I've got a longstanding but unfulfilled notion to photoshop out everything below the roof so it looks like an ornate Victorian flying saucer. One of these days...
