Grandma

Today's the first anniversary of Grandma's death. It doesn't feel like a couple of months since she passed and it's nice to stop and think about her today.

Grandma was a proper grafter. She had no qualifications and went from cleaning job to cleaning job to support her son and her mother. She showed her love through food, much to the delight of her sweetie loving Grandchildren and to the annoyance of our Mum.

She was a real character, didn't ever ask you loads about your life but had a million and one stories about hers!!! In later years she pretty much lived off packs of walkers crisps and a salt circle used to sit around her armchair.

Grandma was ready to duff-up anyone at any given time and walked with a can of baked beans in her purse and slept with a baseball bat under her bed.

She traveled, she was fun, she talked about people behind their backs and to their faces.....she was my Grandma.
