Swing

We didn't have any plans today, but we ended up having such a lovely time.

First, we saw a local activity advertised on Facebook so we went along.  It was called 'Create' and held at North Edinburgh Arts Centre - "The Create project is an art-making experience for parents and carers that engages them in active play with the children, aged 5 and under, in their care."  For the princely sum of 50p we had an hour and a half of entertainment including two sensory tents, a story, singing, and a healthy snack.  BabyCyclops really seemed to enjoy himself (or we'd not have stayed that long!)

Later on, we ventured out to try two local parks.  BabyCyclops has been to the park before, but ages ago and in quite a passive mode.  Today I thought he'd actually enjoy himself.  At the two parks we tried three types of swing, a slide, and a rocking animal.  BabyCyclops was fairly indifferent until I stopped the babying and swung him really high.  This is in character, he always likes the more 'exciting' stuff that you might expect would scare a baby.
