Place Hénocque Paris
This is the east side of the Place de l’Abbé-Georges-Hénocque--a "square" which is in fact a roundabout, or traffic circle, about two minutes walk from our apartment in Paris 13e. It's late afternoon. There is a small playground within the circle (partly visible on the right), which I blipped not quite four years ago.
Georges Hénocque (1870-1959), for whom the Place is named, was a cleric who served with distinction during World War I, and a member of the French resistance during WW II.
