Fun fun fun!

Today Bianca and I travelled all around Phuket. We hired a tuk tuk driver to stay with us all day, and drive us to where ever we needed. It cost us £14 each in English money, which is very reasonable.

First of all we travelled up the mountains to an amazing view point called 3 Beaches view point. It is called this simply because you have great views of 3 different beaches along the coast. It was beautiful, and had 3 different viewing tiers.

We then travelled to the Big Buddha temple. It was beautiful. They have been building it for many years all by hand using individual slates of marble. When I arrived they stopped us because our knees were showing, so we had to get given a sarong to wear whilst inside the premises. There were a lot of stairs to walk up, but once at the top you could see the beautiful gold statues surrounding it, the breathtaking views and of course the temple itself. It was a really lovely thing to see. We spent quite some time here exploring every thing and being nosey.

Our last stop was a bar on the edge of the mountain. It almost looked like a wooden shack barely hanging off the edge. They had seats right on the corners on the decking which was incredible. You could see all the bays and the mountains, even the elephants in the forest on there trails. We had a yummy chocolate icecream sundae to top it off.

It was then back to the hotel to get ready for an evening in Patong for dinner. After dinner we stopped off in the market and got some braids put in our hair, plaited with colourful string. It was a great day.
