Taste testers

My regular Tuesday (will never take it for granted, it's such a treat for me) lunch companions will get to be taste testers tomorrow.

I received one of these from my neighbor for a mere hour of kid sitting the other night. I wasted no time testing the concept and the recipe that came with it.

One of the best things about a five (almost six) year old and a three year old is that they will tell you honestly if something isn't good according to their immature little taste buds. Mr. M gave a mmm.mm...m thumbs up already so I have high hopes, but you ever know.

Speaking of Mr. M...I love being married to a doer, a handy man, a figure-it-out-and-make-it-work man. We worked together to put the copper pipes up under the pergola this morning and it wasn't easy; lots of measuring and calculations, otherwise my job sewing the paneled canopy will be nightmarish. I must think of a very nice way to thank him after the down payment of two cake popsicles.
