In Bloom

I bought a small bowl pot plant from M&S in the autumn and immediately potted the Iris bulbs. For months, nothing seemed to happen with the shoots that grew from the compost, but I dutifully watered my wee pot anyway.

I never expected to see the blooms that are now starting to open into beautiful, exotic flowers, especially in the cold, winter weather we're having at the moment .
