Growing

This was one of my favourite dresses on Eva, she wore it around the time Anna was born. A timeless gift. I wonder if there'll ever be another Rowley girl to wear it?!

At the same time, I really struggle to believe this girl is almost two. I adore her cuddles, her tender kisses, the way she takes my hand to lead me somewhere, hiding with her under the dog blanket (away from "monchstas"/ monsters) clambering to sit on my knee, the bounce in her caramel girls, her deep love of Eva, her precarious balancing, determined jumps, energy and her small but fierce ways. A mother's love is boundless, wearying and incredible. I'm reminded everyday.
