Buen Camino

It seems to be my week for finding messages written on the sidewalk.

Some things I've watched recently:

Frances Ha (2012), Greta Gerwig, Adam Driver.  This was a comedy/drama about a young woman, an aspiring ballet dancer, in New York city, trying to realize her dreams.  It was quirky and some of it very funny, the lead character reminded me so much of a friend of mine.


 Living on One Dollar (2012), a documentary which follows four college friends who live on a dollar a day in rural Guatemala.  More info here if interested.  


To Be Takei (2014), an engaging documentary on the life and career of the actor George Takei.  We both enjoyed this.  


The Honorable Woman (2104), TV Mini-series, Maggie Gyllenhaal.  A political-spy thriller written for the BBC and Sundance TV.   It wasn't an easy watch but it was very good.
