Black Headed Gull

I went out turfing in the morning, and met this trusting gull at the Art College, It just walked on the wall and allowed me to get quite close. As it isn't yet spring, it is still in winter plumage with only black ears. I guess in the next month the distinctive black head will emerge. The Pentlands, with their thin cover of snow, are visible in the background.
