Abstinence.....!.

...because I had already had my fill elsewhere!

I had called on a friend on my way home as arranged, for "a cup of tea, a biscuit and a chat." When I got home.....NO KEYS. No car in the drive, so D OUT. No neighbours in to get the spare set. 

So...to our local Costa to await rescue! Coffee bought to legitimise my stay! (My excuse anyway.)

Rescued an hour later. Meanwhile....books out and homework done!

NB...Don't forget keys again!
