Puppy sitting

We watched Keira the collie today- since we'd sent her owners Tim and Laura out across the snowy Dhirri to Inverness to collect a fridge freezer (was slightly nerve racking when they were back a bit later than expected- I thought i'd killed them in the snow)

Euan found it a bit stressfull trying to keep Ivy and the Puppy from hurting each other- but he did get to go for a nice long walk which helped him relax. Ivy has discovered she likes feeding dogs, so Keira got an assortment of non dog appropriate things including spring onion and the stalk off Ivy's apple (she wasn't going to share the juicy bit of an apple- obviously....)

Tim and Laura did eventually reappear, so we had haggis for dinner. Ivy was unfortunatly overtired and was too upset by dinner time to have haggis so had parsnip puree instead. I got her to sleep in her own bed without cuddling again today- she went up the stairs to her room by herself and lay down on her bed- crying the whole time but doing it anyway. She was asleep in 5 minutes.
