Hibernating

This small tortoiseshell butterfly has been sitting, motionless but alive, on the wall behind our bed for days now. It must be awaiting the Spring... Aren't we all?! I like it being there, and it fascinates Ted who points at it daily saying 'bu-bye!' with great excitement. I hope it survives and that I get to see it fly off into the Spring sunshine.
