Its getting lighter!

Working full time in an office is hard during winter. I end up going all week without seeing a glimpse of sunlight but now its finally starting to get lighter! I was able to catch the sunset on my way home from work and found some seagulls resting on a sheet of ice in the lake. 

Still getting to grips with my new camera. Its seems the more I learn the more confused and scared I become!! There are so many controls and options I keep forgetting them!
